As of February 2026, OSHA penalty amounts for general industry are governed by the annual inflation adjustments that took effect on January 15, 2025, with no further increases enacted yet for 2026. These penalties are indexed to inflation under the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015.
